Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Monymo: Income Tracker ("Monymo", the "App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the Monymo mobile application and the website at monymo.pro. Monymo is provided by Anton Zakharchenko.
Monymo is designed to track your work sessions and income. Monymo does not store your session history, projects, reminders, or app settings on servers operated by us. Most app data is stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, supported app data is stored and synced through Apple iCloud and CloudKit services associated with your Apple ID. Free users may see ads served by Google Mobile Ads. Monymo does not require you to create an account with us.
Information You Provide or Create in the App
Work session and income data
When you use Monymo, the App may store the following data on your device:
- Hourly rate, selected currency, earnings display preferences, and timer settings.
- Current session state, elapsed time, calculated earnings, start time, and background timing data.
- Completed session history, including start time, end time, duration, rate, earnings, target duration, notes, and related project details.
- Projects, including project names, rates, colors, and whether a project is archived.
- Reminder settings, reminder titles, selected weekdays, reminder times, notification preferences, and read or delivered notification records.
- Interface preferences, such as haptics, progress ring, countdown, decimals, and app icon selection.
Support communications
If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message content, screenshots, device details you include, and any other information needed to respond to your request.
Exports and sharing
Monymo can generate PDF reports from your session history. These reports are created on your device and are shared only when you choose to use the iOS share sheet, email, AirDrop, Files, or another destination. Once you share a report with another app or service, that destination's privacy practices apply.
Information Collected Automatically
Device, diagnostics, and usage information
Monymo and the services it uses may process technical information such as device type, operating system version, app version, app interactions, crash data, performance data, IP address, and advertising-related events. This information is used to run the App, improve reliability, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and comply with platform requirements.
Advertising identifier and tracking permission
Monymo uses Google Mobile Ads to show ads to users who do not have Monymo Pro. The App may ask for permission to use Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) so ads can be more relevant and ad performance can be measured. If you deny permission, you can still use the App, but ads may be less personalized. You can change this choice in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security > Tracking.
Location
Monymo does not request or collect precise GPS location. Advertising and platform services may infer coarse location from information such as IP address or device settings to deliver, measure, and protect advertising and platform services.
iCloud Sync
If you enable iCloud sync, supported app data is stored and synced through Apple iCloud and CloudKit services associated with your Apple ID. This may include session history, projects, reminders, selected currency, rate, display preferences, timer settings, and other app settings. Session history and project records are stored in your private iCloud database for the App. Some smaller settings are synced through iCloud key-value storage. We do not operate our own cloud database for this data and do not receive your session history, project records, reminders, or synced app settings by default.
iCloud sync is optional and requires an iCloud account, iCloud availability on your device, and access to the Monymo Pro feature. If you disable iCloud sync, Monymo stops syncing new changes. Data that has already been stored in iCloud may remain in your iCloud account unless you delete it through the App, delete relevant app data, or manage it through Apple's iCloud settings. Apple controls the infrastructure and privacy practices for iCloud and CloudKit.
Notifications
If you enable notifications, Monymo may schedule local notifications for session completion and work reminders. Notification content may include reminder titles, session completion messages, notification dates, read status, and internal deep links. iOS handles notification delivery and permissions. Monymo may receive and store an Apple push notification device token on your device after notification permission is granted, but the current App does not require an account with us for notifications.
Purchases and Subscriptions
Monymo Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. Apple handles payment information, billing, refunds, and subscription management. We do not receive your full payment card details. The App receives purchase and entitlement information needed to unlock Pro features, restore purchases, check subscription status, and show subscription options.
Third-Party Services
Monymo uses the following third-party or platform services:
- Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads for advertising.
- Google services used by apps and sites for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and related processing.
- Google Privacy Policy.
- Apple App Store and StoreKit for downloads, purchases, subscriptions, refunds, and App Store analytics.
- Apple Privacy Policy for iCloud, CloudKit, notifications, device services, and other Apple platform features.
These services may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms. Their processing may include identifiers, usage data, diagnostics, coarse location, advertising data, purchase data, and performance data depending on your settings, region, device, subscription state, and how you use the App.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide core App features such as the timer, earnings calculation, history, projects, reminders, notifications, and PDF export.
- Save your preferences and keep your experience consistent across launches.
- Sync data across your devices if you enable iCloud sync.
- Process purchases, manage entitlements, restore subscriptions, and provide Pro features.
- Show and measure ads for non-Pro users.
- Maintain App reliability, diagnose crashes, prevent fraud, and improve the App.
- Respond to support requests you send us.
- Comply with legal obligations and platform requirements.
How Information Is Shared
We do not sell your personal information. We do not operate a Monymo account system or a custom server that stores or receives your session history, project records, reminders, or synced app settings by default. Information may be shared in the following situations:
- With Apple, when you download the App, make purchases, use StoreKit, use iCloud sync, receive notifications, or use other Apple platform services.
- With Google, when Google Mobile Ads is used to load, show, measure, and protect ads.
- With apps or services you choose when exporting reports, sharing data, or sending email.
- When required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, security, and prevent fraud or abuse.
- With your consent or at your direction.
Some privacy laws may define personalized advertising as "sharing" or "targeted advertising." You can limit this by denying tracking permission in iOS, changing Apple advertising settings, using Google's ad controls where available, or subscribing to Monymo Pro to remove ads from the App.
Website
When you visit monymo.pro, the hosting provider may process standard server log information, such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, referring pages, and timestamps. The website is used to provide information about Monymo, support, and legal pages.
Retention
App data stored locally remains on your device until you delete it in the App, reset relevant settings, or uninstall the App. Data synced to iCloud remains associated with your Apple ID and may remain in your iCloud account until you delete it through the App or manage it through Apple's iCloud settings. We do not retain a separate server copy of your session history, project records, reminders, or synced app settings. Support emails are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to handle your request, maintain records, and comply with legal obligations. Apple and Google retain data according to their own policies.
Your Choices and Controls
- You can delete session history, projects, reminders, and notifications inside the App where those controls are available.
- You can disable iCloud sync in Monymo settings.
- You can manage or delete iCloud data associated with the App through the App where available or through Apple's iCloud settings.
- You can manage iCloud, notifications, tracking permission, personalized ads, and app permissions in iOS Settings.

- You can use Monymo Pro to remove ads and reduce advertising-related processing inside the App.

International Processing
Apple, Google, email providers, hosting providers, and other services you choose may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Their privacy policies explain their international transfer practices.
Security
We use platform-provided storage, iCloud, StoreKit, and iOS security features to help protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Monymo is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page. Your continued use of Monymo after an update means you acknowledge the updated policy.
